How to create a document

Initiate document creation on the Limesync AI Platform by clicking the **+** button on the left sidebar and selecting **Create Document** from the dropdown menu, or choose the **Create from video** option on the main dashboard.

Select the target workspace for the new document from the **Workspace** dropdown menu in the **Create Document** configuration panel.

Choose a document template by clicking the **Template** dropdown; select **Yum - SOP Template** to define the structure of the Standard Operating Procedure.

Input a descriptive name for the document in the **Name** field, such as **Onboarding video**, to ensure easy identification within the platform.

Upload the source video file by clicking the **Click to upload or drag and drop** area and selecting the appropriate **MP4** or **MOV** file from the local storage.

Execute the document generation process by clicking the **Create** button at the bottom of the configuration panel.

Monitor the file upload progress in the **Uploading video...** status bar; ensure the upload reaches 100% before navigating away from the page.

Verify completion of the processing task by accessing the **Generation Tasks** list from the sidebar and confirming the status has changed to **Success**.

Access the generated SOP by selecting the workspace and clicking on the new document title. Review the automatically extracted screenshots, process flow diagrams, and structured text sections.

Utilize the toolbar in the document view to perform final actions, such as exporting the document to **PDF** or **Word**, viewing the interactive **Process Flow** diagram, or making manual edits to the content.
